William Kooiker
My full name is William Adam Kooiker (pronounced "Koy-Ker"). Most of my childhood was spent in Orange City, a small Dutch community in the northwest corner of Iowa. After high school graduation, I attended Northwestern with a major in education, got married (right before my senior year), and also earned my BA. Afterward, my wife Heather and I moved to Virginia where we currently reside. Our first daughter, Aubrie, was born in 2004.
Throughout the years, I have coached a variety of sports, including varsity basketball and soccer, and have even given some private tennis lessons. Currently, I am teaching full-time, though perhaps one day I can spend all my time writing. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, reading, sleeping, and playing with Aubrie. I also listen to a very diverse range of music.
